Absolutely Almond Cherry Cobbler
2 (21 oz) cans cherry pie filling (or any flavor you like)
Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix
½3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
Pour pie filling into a greased 9×13 pan. Combine Pound Cake Mix
with butter & crumble mixture over pie filling. Bake at 350o for
30-40 min. Serve warm w/ vanilla ice cream if desired.
Absolutely Awesome Banana Cake (low-fat recipe!)
Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup water
½ 1/2 can of cream cheese frosting (optional)
Combine first 3 ingredients and stir until well blended. Pour into greased 8×8 pan and bake at 350o for 45-50 min. or until sides pull away from pan slightly. Cool completely and frost w/ cream cheese frosting.
Absolutely Lemon Cake
Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix
½3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
1 cup water
3.4 oz. pkg. lemon instant pudding
2 cups powdered sugar
2 – 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Thawed Cool Whip (optional)®
Prepare Pound Cake as directed on package with butter and water.
Add pudding mix; blend well. Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 325o for 55-60 minutes. Combine powdered sugar
and lemon juice; stir well. While cake is still warm,
poke holes generously throughout the top; pour lemon juice mixture over cake. Cool; serve with Cool Whip if desired.
Absolutely Tropical Pound Cake (low-fat recipe!)

1 cup water
½ 8 oz. can drained crushed pineapple
Combine all ingredients; stir to blend. Pour into greased loaf pan or 8 x 8 baking pan. Bake at 325o for 50-55 minutes or until lightly browned.

Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix
1 cup water
6 Tbsp. (3/4 stick) melted butter
6 Tbsp. applesauce
Prepare as directed on the package.
Another low-fat idea:
INSTEAD OF BUTTER & WATER, add:
1 12 oz. can of regular or diet soda (Sprite, cream soda, Mountain Dew, etc.)
