its smell, but take a step back and make sure it doesn’t have lingering (unpleasant) odors. Real Estate Pro and video guru Cheryl Kirby says:
Smell is huge. Smoke, cooking certain foods, and garbage overflowing can really make a home smell bad. The minute a buyer opens the door: The smell is there and can be a quick turn off.
How can you help a smelly problem? Change the garbage can frequently, get a plug-in air freshner and set it on the lowest setting. And perhaps the most important tip: Stop smoking in the house!!
